How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the warm peachy-pink ground clash with cool grey walls?

It works better than you'd think. The pink is soft and warm, and the sky blue and pine green in the print sit comfortably against cool grey. If the room runs very cool, balance it with one warm piece nearby — an oak frame, a wood lamp base, or a linen cushion in oatmeal.

Is the composition centred, or does the eye pull to one side?

The eye pulls slightly left, towards the yellow tent and the tall trees. The picnic bench and the small red canoe on the lake balance things on the right. Hang it centred above your furniture and it reads as steady, not lopsided.

Does it work in a small room, or does it need a big wall?

It works in a small room. The shapes are clean and the palette is calm, so it doesn't crowd the space. A medium size above a low sideboard or at the foot of a bed is the sweet spot — go larger only if you've got a long empty wall to fill.
