How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the background pure white or off-white?

It's an off-white — slightly warm and a touch creamy, not stark paper-white. That softness is what stops the line work feeling clinical. It sits comfortably on plaster, magnolia and most warm white walls without looking like a mismatched patch.

Will the pink and mustard feel too feminine for a shared bedroom?

The pink is muted and sits behind plenty of dark green line work, so it doesn't read sugary. The overall feel is calm and modern rather than girly — most people read it as a botanical first and a colour piece second.

Does it work in a small bathroom?

Yes, as long as it's well away from the shower spray and a fan keeps the room from staying damp. The portrait shape and soft palette suit small bathrooms above a towel rail or beside a mirror, particularly with pale wood and warm white tiles.
