About This Art

Some botanical prints match a room. This one resets its pecking order. A brown bear stares out from a thicket of deep red, cream and mustard blooms, framed by Morris-style foliage and exhibition typography.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Will the dark background and dense florals feel heavy in a small hallway?

It reads as warm rather than heavy. The cream florals and the bear's pale face break up the dark ground, so the eye has somewhere to rest. In a narrow hallway it actually pulls you down the space rather than closing it in — especially against an off-white or deep green wall.

Is the exhibition text part of the design or can it be cropped out?

The typography is a fixed part of the poster — 'William Morris' along the top and the South Kensington exhibition details along the bottom. It's designed to read as a vintage museum poster, so cropping it would lose the look. If you want the bear and florals alone, this isn't the right piece.

Does it work above a kitchen worktop or is it better in drier rooms?

It works well above a kitchen feature wall away from steam and splashes — a breakfast nook or far wall rather than directly behind the hob or sink. Framed with acrylic glazing it's more forgiving than glass, but treat it like any paper print and keep it out of direct moisture.
