About This Art

Somewhere between Matisse and loose maximalist illustration, this abstract floral refuses to behave. Big white petals, a flash of orange, scattered lilac dots and green leaves all crash together on a deep teal ground.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the deep teal background look heavy in a small room?

Not really. The teal sits behind a lot of bright petals, dots and pale brushwork, so the overall impression is colourful rather than dark. In a small room it works best on a light wall — off-white, putty or pale pink — so the background reads as depth rather than a dark patch.

Is this suitable for a nursery, or is it too busy?

It works well in a nursery as the single focal piece. Keep the rest of the room quiet — plain walls, pale wood furniture, soft textiles — and let this be the colourful thing the baby looks at. Avoid pairing it with other patterned art or busy wallpaper.

Can I hang this next to other floral or abstract prints?

Best on its own. The brushwork, dots and high-contrast colour are doing a lot already, and another busy piece next to it will fight rather than complement. If you do pair it, pick something very quiet — a soft single-stem botanical or a low-contrast abstract in similar colours.
