About This Art

Nothing in this terracotta-and-deep-green botanical study whispers, even when the room does. The snakes coil right through the peonies, and the whole thing reads as one busy, confident pattern rather than a polite floral.

Put it up and the room gains a focal point straight away. Walls that felt flat get depth; warm woods and brass start to look intentional rather than incidental.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the typography part of the artwork, or can I get it without?

The 'William Morris' header and the exhibition details at the bottom are part of the printed design — they're what gives it the gallery-poster character. We don't offer a typography-free version of this piece.

Will the snakes feel unsettling on a wall I walk past every day?

They're stylised and decorative rather than realistic — closer to a textile motif than a wildlife illustration. Most people read them as part of the pattern within a day or two. If snakes genuinely put you off, this isn't the one.

Does it work in a small hallway, or is it too busy?

It works well in narrow hallways as long as you can stand a metre or so back from it — at the end of a corridor or above a low console is ideal. In a very short hallway where you're right up against it, the detail can feel crowded.
