How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

How bright does the pool blue actually read on a wall?

Brighter than a muted coastal print, softer than a neon. The blue sits next to large areas of off-white and soft pink, so it lifts the room without dominating it. In a sunny room it glows; in a north-facing room it stays clean and clear rather than going grey.

Will the soft pink paving fight a warm-white or cream wall?

No — the pink is dusty rather than candy, and it sits against plenty of off-white in the painting, so it reads as warm rather than sweet. It works happily on warm white, cream, chalky off-white and pale plaster. Avoid hot pink or strong terracotta walls behind it.

Is the brushwork actually visible, or does it print flat?

The loose, slightly wobbly brushstrokes are part of the appeal and they print clearly on both paper and canvas. On canvas the texture reads almost like an original painting from a step back. On fine-art paper you get crisp brush edges with the colour staying true.
