How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the soft blue and pink feel too cold in a north-facing room?

The blue is a warm sky blue rather than a grey-blue, and the peach sun and cream koi add real warmth. In a north-facing room, pair it with cream linen, pale oak and a soft pink or peach textile to keep things feeling gentle rather than chilly.

Is this suitable for a nursery or will a child grow out of it quickly?

It's stylised rather than cartoon-y, so it tends to age well. Plenty of customers move it from the nursery into a child's bedroom and later into a bathroom or hallway. The palette is calm enough that it doesn't lock the room into a single age range.

Does it work in a bathroom with the steam and humidity?

Framed behind premium acrylic glazing it copes fine with a normal family bathroom. For an en-suite or wet room with heavy steam, hang it on the wall furthest from the shower and make sure the room ventilates well after use.
