How do I frame an art print?

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Will the red and mustard fight with a colourful room?

The red and mustard are the loudest notes, balanced by warm off-white and dark charcoal. In a busy colourful room they'll add to the noise rather than calm it. This piece does its best work on a quieter wall — chalky off-white, muted blue-grey or a soft warm neutral — where the colours can land without competition.

Is the painterly brushwork detailed up close, or quite loose?

It's loose and gestural rather than tightly detailed — faces are suggested rather than drawn, and the strokes stay visible. That's the point. If you prefer crisp linework or photographic realism, this won't be the right fit. If you like art that reads as a painting from across the room and rewards a closer look, it will suit.
