How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the 'POSTES' lettering on the cap clearly readable in the print?

Yes. The gold 'POSTES' band across the front of the cap is one of the sharpest details and reads clearly even at small print sizes. It sits roughly a third of the way down the image and is one of the first things the eye lands on.

Will the turquoise background clash with warm-toned walls?

It can. The background is a cool, slightly dusty turquoise, so it sits most comfortably on chalky off-white, soft sage or cool cream walls. On strong terracotta, deep pink or hot mustard walls the two blues in the painting will fight rather than settle.

Does it work better in portrait or as part of a pair?

Solo. The composition is centred and the gaze is straight ahead, so it carries a wall on its own. Pairing it with another strong portrait creates a stand-off; if you want company, pick a quiet still life or a small botanical at a smaller scale.
