How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Is the scene too dark for a nursery wall?

No — the deep blue trees and near-black mountain are balanced by a large pale sky, off-white slopes and warm red and mustard on the figures. It reads as gentle and storybook rather than heavy, and feels calm rather than gloomy in a child's room.

Will it suit an older child's room as well as a baby's nursery?

Yes. The illustration is folk-style rather than babyish, so it grows with the room. It works just as well above a toddler's reading nook or a primary-school-age child's desk as it does above a changing table.

Is the print better hung portrait on a narrow wall or could it sit above a wider piece of furniture?

It's portrait, so it does its best work on a narrow wall — between a door and a window, in a small alcove, or above a slim dresser or console. Above a wide bed or sofa it can feel a little undersized unless paired with a second print.
