How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does the floral border feel too busy for a smaller room?

The border is dense but the colours are soft and dusty rather than bright, so it reads as warm pattern rather than visual noise. In a smaller room it still works as a single focal point — just give it clear wall on either side and avoid pairing it with other patterned art or wallpaper.

Will the soft pink peonies fight a green or red room?

It sits comfortably with muted greens — the foliage in the print already does the bridging work. With warm reds or terracotta it also works because the pinks are dusty rather than candy. It's the cooler, brighter pinks and primary reds in a room that would clash, not the print itself.

Is the exhibition text a major feature, or is the tiger the main thing?

The tiger and florals take up most of the image; the WILLIAM MORRIS title and South Kensington exhibition text sit as borders top and bottom. From normal viewing distance the tiger reads first, then the florals, then the text — so it works as art rather than as a literal poster.
