    About This Art

A hallway wall with nothing on it wants one tall thing, and here the frame does the deciding. In black, the ink lines sharpen and the brick red pulls forward, so the piece holds a long off-white corridor on its own. Go white and the whole thing softens, which suits a pale bedroom with linen and painted floorboards. Choose by the room. Against chalky plaster, black gives it edges. On deep green or navy paint, white lifts the mustard and lets the blue breathe. Hang it at eye level on a stair landing and keep the wall beside it bare. Cane, pale ash and one plain rug are enough company. The framed canvas comes in the same six colours and needs no glazing.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the red and blue clash with a coloured wall?

Deep colours help rather than hurt. On a deep green or navy wall the cream ground reads as light and the red sits forward, so the piece looks deliberate. Mid-tone walls are harder. A sage or dusty pink wall sits too close to the washes and the whole thing goes muddy. Go dark or go off-white and it will hold.

How big should I go on a stair landing?

Larger than instinct says. On a landing you see it from the flight below as well as up close, so it needs to read from three or four metres. Aim for at least 80cm tall, and go bigger if the wall runs the full height of the stairwell. Hang the centre a little above eye level from the landing itself so it works from both viewpoints.

Is it too busy for a small hallway?

Only if it has competition. The piece carries a lot of movement, so it wants a plain painted wall and nothing else hung nearby. In a narrow hall that suits it well, since one tall thing on an empty wall looks intentional where three small things look cluttered. Keep coat hooks and mirrors on the opposite side.
