Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The lean is intentional. Amsterdam's canal houses really do tilt — they were built on wooden piles in soft ground, and many have settled at slight angles over the centuries. The illustration leans into that wonky skyline rather than straightening it out.

The tulips sit low in the frame and the dominant colours above are navy, muted red, sage and cream, so the overall feel is travel-leaning rather than floral. Most people read it as a cityscape with a flower foreground, not a floral print.

Both work, but the size changes. Above a sofa or sideboard, go large so the row of houses fills the wall properly. In a hallway, a mid-size version sits comfortably above a bench or console without overwhelming a narrower space.
