Put it up and a plain wall suddenly has a bit of personality without gaining any colour, which is why it slots into rooms that are already decided. Hang it at eye level in a hallway, above a desk, or in a run of frames going up the stairs. Keep the company simple: white or grey walls, pale wood, black metal handles, a wool rug.     Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Will it still look like an Australian Shepherd from across the room?

    Yes. Step back and the muzzle, the pricked ears, the feathered chest and the raised tail all pull into focus. Up close it breaks down into loose overlapping lines, which is part of the appeal. If your viewing distance is under a metre, choose a larger size so the shape reads properly.

    Does it work if my Aussie is a blue merle or red tri?

    The drawing is pure black line on white, so it reads as the breed shape rather than one coat colour. That makes it suitable for any Aussie regardless of markings. If you specifically want merle patterning or true coat colour shown, a colour portrait will suit you better than this one.

    Can I hang it in a colourful room?

    It can work, though it behaves differently. Against strong colour the black lines act as a break rather than a focal point, so give it plenty of clear wall and keep nearby pattern to a minimum. It is happiest on a plain white, grey or soft off-white wall where the white background reads as space.
