    About This Art

From the doorway, the vertical reads clean. Up close, not polite. The orange trees punch hard against the soft sage sky, and the canal reflections break into ripples once you're close enough to notice.

The room changes in the warmer half of the day. Lamplight pulls the rust and amber forward; the sage settles back and lets the architecture do the talking. It gives a wall a destination without shouting about it.

Hallways and entryways suit it best — somewhere you pass through and clock it. A study wall or above a low console in a travel-leaning living room also works. Portrait format means it sits happily on a narrower stretch between doors or windows.

Pair with oak or walnut timber, a tan leather chair, woven rattan, and cream stoneware. A small brass lamp nearby and you've got the warm side of the palette doing its job.

What to avoid: don't crowd it with another loud travel poster or a busy graphic print. This one already carries the room.

Stretched on a deep wooden frame with a soft matte surface, ready to hang straight from the box.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Is the orange in the trees as strong in person as it looks on screen?

Yes — the orange is the loudest note in the print, deliberately. It reads warm and confident rather than neon. On paper with a matte finish, it sits a touch softer than a backlit screen, but it's still the first thing the eye lands on when you walk in.

Will it work in a room that doesn't already have orange or rust in it?

Yes. The print brings its own warm accent, so you don't need the room to match. It plays nicely with oak, walnut, tan leather, cream and sage. If your room is very cool — lots of grey and blue — it'll feel like a single warm punctuation mark rather than a clash.

Does it show real Amsterdam landmarks or is it generic?

The clock tower is recognisably the Munttoren, and the canal houses follow the typical stepped and bell-gabled style you see along the city's main canals. It's stylised rather than a strict architectural record, but anyone who's been to Amsterdam will clock it straight away.
