Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

It reads as a soft, slightly warm pink — closer to a chalky plaster pink than a sweet bubblegum pink. It sits comfortably next to cream, warm white and pale oak, and reads as a grown-up colour rather than a nursery shade.

At medium and large sizes the dot stays punchy because the rest of the composition is so calm — your eye is pulled to it straight away. At smaller sizes it works best at eye level so the red still has impact rather than sitting too high up.

Ausstellung simply means exhibition, and the wording is a nod to the original 1919 Bauhaus shows. It reads as design history rather than language — most people register it as a graphic element, much like a vintage travel poster.
