    About This Art

Test it this way: if the study feels safe, size up. This is a confident graphic poster — four deep-green petals on a soft cream ground — and it wants a wall it can actually fill.

What changes is the focus. A flat wall stops being flat. The eye lands in the middle of the room and everything else (the desk, the chair, the lamp) starts to feel arranged on purpose.

Hang it at eye-level above a console, a low sideboard, or a writing desk. It also works in a narrow hallway where it gives you something to walk towards.

Pair it with oak or walnut, cream linen, matte black metal, and one or two ceramics in cream or sage. Keep the surfaces underneath fairly clear.

What not to do: don't crowd it with other bold posters or busy florals — this one needs a bit of breathing room. The canvas keeps the matte, poster-like flatness the design relies on.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the deep green read as black from a distance?

No — it's a clear forest green and stays green in normal room light. In a very dim hallway with only warm overhead bulbs it can drop slightly in tone, but the green character holds. In daylight or near a lamp it reads obviously green against the cream.

Is the cream background bright white or warm off-white?

Warm off-white — closer to oat or soft cream than crisp paper-white. It sits comfortably next to magnolia, chalky off-white, and warm neutral walls. Against a stark cool white wall there will be a small visible warmth difference, which most people find softer rather than jarring.

Does the German text matter if I don't know what it says?

Not really — Ausstellung means exhibition, and 1919 was the year the Bauhaus school opened in Weimar. The words read as part of the graphic design rather than as a message, so the poster works fine as a purely visual piece even if the language isn't familiar.
