About This Art
For a living room full of curves, this abstract brings the check. One heavy black stroke swings across an off-white ground and gives the whole room a clear line to look at. Rooms with soft sofas, rounded lamps and lots of texture often need something firm to push against, and this is it. Hang it above a sideboard, on a narrow hallway wall, or between two windows where the light keeps the off-white bright. Pair it with pale wood, cream fabric, black metal and simple stoneware. Keep the wall around it fairly empty and skip busy patterned art nearby — the stroke needs room to move. As a canvas the black reads softer and matt, with no shine to fight the light.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?
If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.
We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Will this feel too harsh in a small room?
Not usually. Most of the picture is warm off-white, so it reads lighter than the black suggests. In a small room, keep it as the only artwork on that wall and leave clear space either side. The strong curve gives the eye somewhere to land without filling the room with detail.
Does the off-white background look cream or bright white?
It is a warm off-white with a slight softness to it, closer to cream than to a cool bright white. That means it sits comfortably against magnolia, greige and pale plaster walls, and next to natural wood. Against a very cool blue-white wall the difference in warmth will show a little.
What size should I go for above a sofa or sideboard?
Go large. The stroke sweeps right to the edges, so at bigger sizes you get the full curve and it holds a wide piece of furniture on its own. As a rough guide, aim for something around two thirds the width of the sofa or sideboard below it, hung with a hand's width of clear wall above the furniture.
