About This Art
Three things it does fast: ground off-white, sharpen walnut, wake a living room. The sweeping black curve gives a pale wall a clear centre, so a room that felt unfinished suddenly reads as deliberate. Hang it above a low sofa or a long sideboard where the width has room to travel, roughly 20–25cm above the furniture so the stroke sits in your eye line when you sit down. It plays well with plaster walls, pale oak, black metal legs and cream linen, and it stops a dark stoneware or bouclé room from going flat. Don't crowd it with busy pattern or a second bold graphic on the same wall — one voice is the whole point. As a canvas the black reads matt and soft-edged, closer to a painted surface.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?
If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.
We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Is the background pure white or slightly warm?
It's a warm off-white, closer to cream than bright white. That matters if your walls are cool grey — the ground will read slightly softer and warmer than the paint around it, which usually looks intentional rather than mismatched. Against off-white or plaster walls it blends almost seamlessly and the black curve does all the work.
Will it look too stark in a warm, cosy room?
It reads bold, but the off-white ground and the grey dry-brush streaks stop it feeling severe. In a room with timber, wool and lamplight the black settles down and behaves like a strong outline rather than a hard block. If your room is already very dark, the pale ground will lift it instead.
How wide does my wall need to be?
Aim for at least 140cm of clear wall so the sweep has breathing room on both sides. Above a sofa or sideboard, pick a size roughly two-thirds the width of the furniture and centre it. On a narrower wall the composition feels cramped and the empty ground stops doing its job.
