    About This Art

Most vegetable prints behave. This one picks a side. The broccoli head is painted deep blue instead of green, sitting inside a wobbly stamp border with soft peach lettering underneath. Put it up and the room stops being purely practical: a kitchen wall reads as a bit of fun rather than storage, and a dull corner gets a fixed point. It works above a sideboard, beside a pantry door, in a breakfast nook or along a narrow hallway with good daylight. Pair it with painted cabinets, pale wood, cream stoneware and simple cotton textiles. Don't hang it beside heavy dark landscapes or ornate gold-framed pieces — the two pull in opposite directions and the joke gets lost. As canvas the edges soften slightly and the surface looks hand-painted.

We're serious about canvas art, ask away

From sizing to framing and print quality, Fab's art experts break it all down—so you can find the right art for your space.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the blue broccoli look odd next to real food and plants?

It reads as a deliberate joke rather than a mistake, so it sits happily near fruit bowls, herbs and trailing pothos. The green stalk and leaves keep it recognisable, while the blue head lifts it away from literal veg illustration. Next to real greenery it looks like a colour choice, not a printing error.

Does it work on its own or does it need matching prints?

It holds a small wall alone, especially in a narrow kitchen or a pantry nook. That said, the stamp border is built for repetition, so two or three other stamp-style food prints at the same size make a neat block. Keep the border style consistent and the grid tight.

What size suits a kitchen wall above a worktop?

Medium is the sweet spot. The lettering and the dotted texture need enough room to read from a couple of metres, but the print shouldn't crowd a splashback or compete with shelving. Leave a clear band of wall above the worktop and keep the bottom edge well clear of taps and kettles.
