How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the busy pattern feel overwhelming in a small room?
Not usually. The cream ground gives the eye plenty of resting space, so the print reads as decorative rather than heavy. In a small hallway or downstairs loo, the scale of the pattern actually helps — it makes the wall feel considered rather than cramped. Keep the rest of the room quieter and it settles in fine.
Does the caption text 'The Botanical House — Heritage Prints Co.' show on the print?
Yes. The title at the top and the caption at the bottom are part of the design, in the style of a vintage exhibition poster. They sit in plain black serif type on the cream margins, framing the floral pattern in the middle. If you'd prefer the pattern only, this isn't the right print for you.
Is the blue more of a navy or a brighter cobalt?
It's a true cobalt blue — clean and bright rather than inky or navy. There's a softer mid-blue used for shading inside the petals, but the overall reading is cobalt on cream. It sits comfortably next to classic blue-and-white china and Delft-style ceramics.
