    About This Art

Walk in and the blue lands first. From the doorway it reads as one flat block of bright blue on the far wall, and the red edges only show once you are three steps closer, which is a useful trick for a room that has to work at two distances. Hang it on the end wall of a hallway or opposite the door in a home office, at eye level, with nothing beside it. A white painted wall keeps the blue sharp. Chalky grey softens it. The one thing to avoid is a patterned rug underneath, because the loops already do the repeating. Give it a plain oak floor and one chair in a flat colour, mustard or tomato red, and the whole room looks decided before anyone sits down. Stretched on canvas the blue wraps round the sides, so it hangs clean without a frame.

We're serious about canvas art, ask away

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the bright blue look cold in a north-facing room?

The blue sits on the warmer side of cobalt, closer to cornflower, so it keeps some warmth even in flat northern light. The off-white loops and red edges help, because they stop the wall reading as a single cool slab. Put a warm wood floor or a mustard chair nearby and the balance tips comfortably. Cool grey walls push it colder, so stick to white or chalky off-white around it.

Does it work in a narrow hallway, or is the pattern too much?

A narrow hallway is where it works best. The loops run upright, so they lift the eye and make a low corridor feel taller, and from the front door the pattern reads as one clean block of blue rather than detail. Hang it alone on the end wall at eye level, keep the runner plain and the walls white. Avoid putting it on a side wall where you only ever see it at an angle.

Which colours should I pick up elsewhere in the room?

Pick one and stop there. Red is the obvious choice, taken from the thin edges, in a chair, a door frame or a single ceramic piece. Mustard yellow works as a contrast if red feels too strong. Keep the rest white, black or pale wood, and do not introduce another blue in curtains or a sofa, because it will argue with the one on the wall rather than support it.
