It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

No, but placement helps. The picture is mostly soft grey and stone, so on a grey wall it reads as texture rather than contrast. The dark blue pot and the yellow lemon carry it. If your walls are pale grey, a black frame or a darker piece of furniture underneath gives the edges something to push against.

Around one and a half to two and a half metres is the sweet spot. The strokes are short and loose, so from across a large open-plan room it settles into soft blocks of grey and blue. Above a desk, dining sideboard or in a smaller room you'll see the paint handling properly, which is most of the pleasure.

Yes, it's one of its best homes. The warm brown tones in the table and windowsill pick up dark stained wood, and the cool greys stop the room feeling heavy. Keep nearby surfaces fairly clear and let stoneware, linen and a bowl of real lemons echo the picture rather than compete with it.
