    From the doorway, the vertical reads clean. Up close, not polite. The brushwork is loose, the eyes are wet black ink, and the whole thing has the slightly wonky charm of a real painting rather than a tidy illustration.

    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Will the navy feel too heavy in a small nursery?

    No, because the navy is concentrated in the dog's chest and ears while the rest of the print is warm off-white. The piece reads light overall, especially in a room with painted walls in chalky white or soft cream. If you're worried, hang it lower at child eye-level and add a soft lamp nearby.

    Is this still going to suit the room once the baby is older?

    Yes. The watercolour finish is friendly without being babyish, and there are no cartoon cues or nursery-specific motifs. Plenty of customers move it into a kids' room, study or hallway later. It tends to grow with the child rather than date out.

    Does it work next to other animal prints?

    One nearby is fine — a quieter botanical or a small line study. Two more animal portraits at the same scale will start competing for attention. If you want a pair, keep the second piece visually quieter so the terrier stays the hero.
