    About This Art

With botanical study, scale decides whether the bedroom wakes up. Go small and it reads as a quiet vignette; go larger and the branch becomes the room's main line.

Hung up, a calm room gets a touch of life — the blue of the birds lifts pale walls without shouting. The dusty green leaves keep things soft, so the wall feels considered rather than busy.

It sits naturally above a low bed, a slim console in a hallway, or a reading chair where you want stillness. Eye-level works best so the birds meet you head-on.

Pair with linen bedding, oak or pale ash timber, cream stoneware, and aged brass or pewter fittings. Chalky off-white and soft greige walls suit it especially well.

Don't fight it with anything loud — bold geometrics or saturated colour blocks will overwhelm the quiet. Printed on premium fine-art paper, with the option of a real wood frame.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the soft palette read as washed-out on a bright white wall?

On a very bright white wall the cream ground can look slightly dulled by comparison. It comes alive against chalky off-white, soft greige or warm plaster tones, where the blue of the birds and the green of the leaves register more clearly. If your walls are pure brilliant white, an oak frame with a generous off-white mount helps bridge the difference.

Is the composition centred, or does it lean to one side?

The branch runs diagonally from upper left to lower right, with the two birds and pale blossoms sitting in the upper third. There's quiet open space in the lower left and upper right corners. It reads as balanced rather than strictly centred, which is worth knowing if you're hanging it as part of a symmetrical arrangement.

Is this calm enough for a nursery, or too detailed?

It suits a nursery well. The palette is soft, the contrast is low and the subject — two small birds on a rose branch — is gentle rather than busy. There are visible thorns on the stem, but they're painted softly and read as botanical detail rather than anything sharp or alarming from across the room.
