How do I frame an art print?

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the deep blue background feel too heavy in a small bedroom?
The blue is strong but the soft pink and cream balance it, so it reads as warm rather than weighty. In a small bedroom, hang it as the single piece of art on that wall and keep the surrounding walls light. One warm lamp nearby will soften the blue further in the evening.
Does it work above a standard double bed at medium size?
Yes. A medium portrait sits comfortably above a double or king headboard, leaving a hand's width of wall either side. Centre it on the bed rather than the wall, with the lower edge about 15–20 cm above the headboard so it reads as one composition.
Will the pink clash if my bedding is already pink?
The tulip pink is soft and slightly warm, so it usually sits well with blush, dusty pink and cream bedding. It can clash with cooler bubblegum or hot pinks. If your bedding is a cooler pink, pull in a cream throw or linen cushion to bridge the two tones.
