Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Yes. The head, cropped ears and squared muzzle are drawn with heavier, denser lines, so the breed shape holds from a few metres away. Up close it breaks into loops and stray marks, which is the point. If you plan to view it mostly from more than three metres, size up to keep the outline strong.

It does better with breathing room. The white background is part of the drawing, so allow at least a hand's width of bare wall on each side and avoid butting it up against shelving or a door frame. In a hallway, hang it on the longest clear stretch rather than squeezing it into a corner.

Only if they share the black-and-white palette. Sitting next to a warm painted or photographic pet portrait, this one will look like a different language. Stick to other line drawings, simple type or black-and-white photos, keep this as the largest piece, and hold the group to two or three frames.
