    About This Art

Here's the trick: let the cityscape cut through all that linen. This is a sunny travel scene of the Obelisco in Buenos Aires, painted in sky blue, mustard yellow and coral pink. A quiet living room or hallway suddenly has somewhere to go. Hang it at eye level on a chalky off-white or warm cream wall, where the blue can breathe. It works above a console, a sideboard or a small sofa, and sits well next to pale oak, rattan and woven textures. Skip it in a room that's already loud with pattern or strong reds — it wants a calm backdrop so the colour can sing. Printed on premium fine-art paper, with the option of a real wood frame.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

How bright is the blue in person?

The sky is a clear, sunny blue that reads bright but not neon. Next to warm cream or off-white walls it feels open and cheerful rather than cold, and the mustard yellow and coral details keep the overall feel warm.

Will it work in a room with lots of other colour?

It can, but it works best with a calm backdrop. If your room already has strong reds, busy patterns or several bold artworks, the coral and yellow here will start to fight for attention. Quiet walls and pale wood let it shine.

Do I need to have been to Buenos Aires for it to make sense?

Not at all. The Obelisco is recognisable to anyone who knows the city, but the painterly style and sunny palette read first as a joyful, sunlit street scene. Travel lovers and city fans tend to enjoy it either way.
