    About This Art

In the 1950s, this would have felt radical. It still does. A graphic Italian moka pot under a single word — BUONGIORNO — turns the morning coffee ritual into something worth looking up at. Hang it and the kitchen suddenly has a point of view. The room reads as considered rather than purely practical: it tells visitors there's a person here who cares about how the day starts. It works best in a kitchen, breakfast nook or coffee corner — above the counter, beside the kettle, or on a narrow strip of wall between cabinets. Pair it with oak or walnut joinery, brass fittings, cream linen, terracotta tile and stoneware mugs. Skip anything fussy nearby — busy florals, dense gallery walls or competing typography will fight the clean letterforms. Printed on premium fine-art paper with a soft matte finish.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the word BUONGIORNO part of the print or can I get it without the text?

The word BUONGIORNO is part of the artwork itself — it sits across the top in a tall serif and is a key part of the composition. It isn't available as a text-free version. If you'd prefer a quieter version of this look, search our moka pot prints without typography.

Will the soft teal moka pot clash with a warm kitchen palette?

The teal here is muted and slightly grey rather than bright, and it sits next to a warm brown handle. That combination usually plays well with oak joinery, brass fittings and cream walls. It can look chilly beside hot red or chrome-heavy kitchens, where a warmer Italian print would suit better.

How close to the cooker or kettle can I safely hang it?

Hang it on a dry wall away from direct steam — beside the kettle or espresso machine is fine, but not directly above a hob or open pan. Heat, oil splatter and constant steam will shorten the life of any paper or canvas print over time.
