    About This Art

Rows of wrapped presents, each painted by hand with its own ribbon and bow, make this a cheerful choice for anyone who decorates properly for Christmas but prefers soft colour to tinsel red and green. Blush pink, peach and brick red boxes sit beside sage and deep teal ones, tied in olive, rose and pale pink ribbon on an off-white ground. The brushwork stays visible, so it reads as a painting rather than wrapping paper. Hang it above a console in the entryway, where guests see it first, or on a dining wall next to a dressed table. A medium size suits most walls; the repeat holds up close and from across the room. It sits well with cream linen, brass and pale wood. Stretched over a wooden frame and ready to hang.

We're serious about canvas art, ask away

From sizing to framing and print quality, Fab's art experts break it all down—so you can find the right art for your space.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Does this look too much like wrapping paper on the wall?

No. Each box is painted by hand with visible brushstrokes, and the ribbons and bows change colour from row to row, so it reads as a painting. The off-white background shows between the boxes, which gives the pattern room to breathe. At medium size you can see the texture of the paint clearly from a few steps away.

Will it work with traditional red and green Christmas decorations?

Yes, though it looks best with softer pieces. The brick red bows and olive ribbons link to classic decorations, while the blush pink, sage and deep teal suit a gentler scheme. Pair it with eucalyptus, cream candles and brass, or a tree in natural tones, and the colours hold together.

Where should I hang it for the Christmas season?

An entryway or hallway is ideal because guests see it as soon as they arrive. It also works above a sideboard in the dining room, or above a console behind the sofa. Hang it at eye level, roughly 145 to 150 centimetres to the centre, and keep the surface below simple so the busy pattern has space.
