    About This Art

Against warm cream plaster, the mustard yellow reads less sweet, more deliberate. The room picks up a confident kitchen-poster energy without tipping into kitsch. Hang it where you want a small jolt of colour: above a kitchen counter, on a breakfast nook wall, or in a bright dining corner. It earns its keep on a feature wall on its own, or above a sideboard with a fruit bowl underneath. Pair with oak, cream linen, terracotta pots, and stoneware in warm clay tones. Skip the moody florals, the heavy oil-painted still lifes, and anything trying to do serious art on the same wall — this one wants to be the loudest thing in the room. Printed on premium fine-art paper for crisp colour and a clean matte finish.

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will this look too loud in a small kitchen?

It is the loudest thing in the room by design, but the cream background gives it air. In a small kitchen, go medium rather than statement, keep surrounding shelf styling quiet, and let it carry the colour on its own rather than competing with patterned tea towels or busy wallpaper.

Does it work in a dining room or only a kitchen?

It works well in both. In a dining room it sits naturally above a sideboard or behind a breakfast nook bench, especially with an oak table and cream walls. It also holds the end of a hallway nicely when you want a cheerful hit of colour.

Are the fruits actually lemons, or are there grapefruits too?

Both. Whole mustard-yellow lemons sit alongside cross-sectioned halves in coral red, which read as grapefruit or blood orange depending on the light. The title block says Lemons, but the mix of whole fruit and red halves is what gives it warmth and stops it feeling one-note.
