Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

At medium scale and eye level the three bicycles read very clearly — the detail rewards close viewing, so hang it where people pause, like above a console in the hallway or over a writing desk, rather than high above a sofa where the fine lines are harder to pick out.

Not at all — it reads as a vintage encyclopaedia page rather than a foreign poster. The word simply means 'bicycles', and the typography sits as part of the old-book character. It tends to be a talking point in hallways and studies rather than something that jars.

Deep green, inky blue, warm clay or chalky off-white all work. Dark walls let the warm cream paper glow and lift the black linework; pale walls keep it quieter and more bookish. Avoid hanging it on bright, highly saturated walls — the soft engraved feel can get drowned out.
