    About This Art

Late afternoon is when this one earns its place. In a west-facing dining room the sun comes in low around five and the rust in the leaf picks up every bit of it, so the whole wall glows for an hour before dinner. The cream ground stays quiet. Morning light is cooler and the copper settles back to brown, which suits a hallway that only gets daylight from a door. Hang it where the last sun lands, over a sideboard or at the end of a table, against a warm white or putty wall. Oak or walnut underneath, a linen runner, and candles rather than a bright pendant once the light goes. Keep it off a north wall painted grey, where the orange has nothing warm to answer it. On fine-art paper the rust keeps its depth under acrylic glazing, and a real wood frame arrives fitted and ready to hang.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the rust orange fight with a grey sofa?

It can. Cool grey pulls the orange forward and the two sit apart rather than together. If the sofa is a warm greige or mushroom it works, because the brown in the leaf finds something to hold onto. With a true grey, add a rust or camel cushion so the colour appears twice in the room, and the print stops looking like the only warm thing in it.

What size suits a hallway wall?

Go for the medium size on a standard hallway wall of around 80cm to a metre wide. The leaf is a single upright shape, so it holds a narrow wall without needing company. Hang it with the centre around 150cm from the floor. In a wider entrance with a bench or console underneath, step up to large so the stem does not look lost above the furniture.

Does it read as autumn decoration or year-round art?

Year-round, as long as the room has warmth elsewhere. The cream ground and painted texture make it feel like a study rather than a seasonal print, and rust sits happily next to oak, linen and terracotta in any month. It comes into its own from September, when the light outside matches it, but nobody will ask why it is still up in May.
