About This Art
Against dark wood, the rust red reads less sweet, more deliberate. The two cows are painted quickly, with rough brushwork and a hillside that stays almost black-green, so the warm red does all the talking. Hung on a plain wall it gives a room a bit of grit without shouting. It suits the space above a sideboard, a dining wall, or a study wall where you sit close enough to see the loose paint marks. Pair it with dark timber, leather, wool and stoneware, plus one or two matt ceramics in warm earth colours. Don't crowd it with tight geometric prints or glossy chrome pieces; the paint marks need calm around them. As a stretched canvas the surface reads closer to a painting on the wall.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?
If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.
We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Will the rust red clash with a deep green wall?
No, it usually helps. The picture already sets red against dark green, so a deep green wall reads as a continuation rather than a clash. Keep nearby accessories in warm earth tones, like terracotta or stoneware, and leave a good margin of bare wall around the piece so the red still reads as the focal point.
Does it need to hang somewhere with strong light?
It does better with soft, warm light than bright glare. The dark green hillside can flatten under harsh downlights, so side light from a window or a lamp set to one side works best. In a darker room, the warm red still carries, which is why it suits studies and dining rooms with painted walls.
How close should people be standing to appreciate it?
Around one and a half to three metres. At that distance the two animals read clearly and you can still see the individual brush marks and the pale outlines. Hung much further away, the loose paintwork starts to merge into blocks of colour, so avoid the far end of a long open-plan room.
