• We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  
• Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  
• Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Not if the wall behind it is calm — chalky off-white, cream or pale plaster lets the colours breathe rather than crowd the room. In a small bedroom the warmth actually helps, making the space feel enclosed and cosy. Avoid hanging it against a strong patterned wallpaper or a bright accent wall.

The face is intentionally obscured by the book, so the figure reads as universal rather than a specific portrait. That makes it easier to live with — it sets a mood of quiet reading rather than feeling like someone is watching you from the wall. Good for bedrooms where you'd rather not have direct eye contact with the art.

Both work, but behind a reading chair is the strongest fit — it doubles down on the subject. Above a bed it still reads well as long as the headboard isn't competing visually. Skip placing it above a busy sofa or in a hallway where it'll only get a glance; this piece rewards a longer look.
