    Try it above the sideboard; the horizontal flight line will do the editing. A wide band of deep teal with cranes mid-wing pulls the eye left to right and quiets everything underneath it.

    The room calms down. The deep background absorbs daytime glare, and by evening the gold detailing at the base catches lamp light and the cranes seem to lift.

    Hang it low — eye-level with someone seated — above a long sideboard, console or low bookcase. Best on a chalky off-white, deep green or warm clay wall.

    Pair with warm wood, brass, linen and stoneware. A single table lamp does more for this piece than any picture light.

    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Will the deep teal background look too heavy in a smaller room?

    Less than you'd think. The cream cranes and faint gold detail break up the background, and the wide horizontal format actually makes a small room feel calmer rather than smaller. It works best hung low above furniture so it sits in your sightline when seated, not looming overhead.

    Is this better above a sofa or above a bed?

    Both work, but it's at its best above a long low piece of furniture — sideboard, console, or bed. The horizontal flight line needs something equally horizontal beneath it. Above a tall-backed sofa, hang it close to the back so the cranes read just above the cushion line.

    Does the gold detail catch the light or is it printed flat?

    The gold detail at the base is printed, not foiled, so it reads as soft gold rather than reflective metallic. Under warm lamp light in the evening it warms up and lifts off the teal, but it won't shine like real gold leaf.
