Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It will, and that can work in your favour if you want a strong contrast. On a deep navy or charcoal wall the white panel reads almost like a window. If you prefer a softer effect, hang it on a pale or off-white wall where the white blends in and the cat does the work.

The cat peeks in from the top-left of the frame and looks slightly up and to the right. That means it pulls the eye across the wall, so it sits best on the LEFT side of a sideboard, sofa or doorway, with a bit of clear wall to its right for the gaze to travel into.

It works both ways. On its own it's a clear focal point. As a pair, hang it alongside a quieter companion — a simple line drawing, a small abstract, or a piece of black-and-white typography. Avoid pairing it with another bold animal portrait; two strong faces compete.
