    About This Art

From the doorway, the hard-edged blocks read clean. Up close, not polite. Torn edges, brown paper, newsprint and rough overlaps make the whole thing feel handmade rather than designed. Put it up and a flat, quiet wall gets warmth and a bit of grit without any extra colour going into the room. It suits a living room above a low sideboard, a study behind a desk, or a wide stretch of hallway where you want one thing worth stopping for. Pair it with linen, leather, warm brown wood, stoneware and a chalky off-white or clay wall. Don't crowd it with busy pattern or shiny chrome nearby — the surface texture does the work and needs breathing space. On premium fine-art paper the torn paper edges and newsprint stay crisp.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the terracotta read as orange on my wall?

It sits closer to rust and brick than bright orange. The red areas are muted and broken up by greige, oatmeal and near-black patches, so it reads warm rather than loud. Against off-white, clay or soft grey-beige walls it settles quickly. On a strong yellow or cool blue wall it will look more orange than it does here.

Does it still work if my room has no warm colours in it at all?

Yes, as long as the room is fairly neutral. In a white or pale grey space it becomes the single warm point, which is often exactly what those rooms need. Add one echo — a stoneware pot, a leather cushion, a brown wood tray — and it looks intentional rather than dropped in.

How much wall width do I need for it to look right?

Give it a wall stretch of at least about 120cm so there is clear space either side. Above a sofa or sideboard, aim for the artwork to span roughly two thirds of the furniture width. Any narrower and the wide layered blocks start to feel squeezed, which flattens the texture that makes it interesting.
