    About This Art

Tan leather swallows most pictures hung above it. Wall and sofa turn the same shade and the picture between them vanishes. Not this one. The warm brown in the foreground meets the leather and agrees with it, then the pale grey mountains and the dusty pink plain pull the eye up and away. Sofa and wall stop fighting. Hang it long and low, the bottom edge a hand above the sofa back, and let the horizon run the full width of the seat. Off-white walls help. A rug in faded red or rust ties the floor in. Keep cushions plain and skip anything in bright blue, which argues with the soft blue of the far hills. One lamp at the side is enough. On canvas the edges run frameless, so the horizon reads as part of the wall.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the warm brown tones work in a room with grey walls?

Warm grey, yes. A greige or stone wall lets the sand and brown sit comfortably and the soft blue hills give a little lift. Cool, blue-leaning grey is harder, because the brown foreground starts to look dull against it. If your walls are cool grey, add a rust or tan textile below to bridge the two and the picture settles in.

How wide should I go above a standard three-seat sofa?

Aim for about two thirds of the sofa width, which for most three-seaters means 120cm to 150cm across. The town and the small figures need that width to read from a seated position. Hang it low, with the bottom edge roughly a hand's width above the sofa back, so the horizon line sits close to eye level when you are sitting down.

Is there enough going on to hold a large wall on its own?

Yes. The scene runs from foreground cactus to distant hills, so the eye has a long route to travel and the wall does not feel empty. Its colours stay muted, so it holds a large wall without shouting. Keep the rest of the wall clear and let the width do the work rather than adding smaller pieces around it.
