How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Will the warm mustard and brown tones clash with a cool grey bedroom?
Honestly, yes — the print is built on warm browns, soft mustard and a cream ground, so a cool grey-blue room will fight it. It comes alive against off-white, putty, soft sage or warm clay walls, and sits naturally with oak, linen and stoneware rather than chrome and cool grey.
Is the dragonfly the main focus, or do the flowers compete with it?
The dragonfly is clearly the hero — long dark body running down the centre, lacy wings spread wide. The daisies and foliage frame it symmetrically but stay softer in tone, so your eye lands on the wings first and then wanders out to the petals.
Does this work above a bed, or is the insect subject off-putting in a bedroom?
It works very well above a bed. The treatment is decorative and vintage rather than scientific or specimen-like — closer to a Morris wallpaper than a natural-history plate — so it reads as soft botanical pattern, not bug. Hang it slightly higher than instinct over a low headboard.
