    'Too safe,' said nobody standing in front of deep green. This is a vintage afternoon tea, painted from above — scones, jam, lemon, lace doilies and china teacups laid out on a rich green cloth.

    A kitchen or dining wall that was reading polite suddenly feels lived-in. The green grounds the room and the cream linens, lemon yellow and warm brown of the scones lift it without making it sweet.

    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Is the green tablecloth as dark as it looks on screen?

    Yes, the tablecloth is a deep, properly saturated green — it's the anchor of the whole piece. It reads richer in person than on a phone screen and balances well against cream, oak and warm brass. If you're after something paler or sage, this isn't the one.

    Will this work in a small kitchen, or is it too busy?

    It works in a small kitchen as long as it's the only patterned thing on that wall. The composition is busy with scones, china and lace, so keep surrounding surfaces calm — plain cabinets, a tidy shelf or two, and avoid hanging it next to floral wallpaper.

    Does it suit a modern dining room or only traditional ones?

    It leans English country and grandmillennial, but it can work in a transitional dining room with timber furniture and softer lighting. In a sharp modern space with chrome, glass and cool greys, it will feel out of place — the warmth needs warm company.
