    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Is the gold background actually shiny or metallic?

    No. The ground is printed as a warm mustard-gold colour with a subtle tiled texture from the original painting — it reads rich and warm but stays matte. It catches lamp-light beautifully in the evening without any glare or reflective finish.

    Will the strong mustard gold work in a room that already has warm tones?

    Yes, as long as the warm tones in the room are quieter — oak, oat linen, clay, soft terracotta. The print becomes the warmest point on the wall and ties everything together. It struggles next to strong pinks, magenta, or competing yellows.

    Does the composition look right at portrait orientation on a narrow wall?

    It's built for it. The cranes stand tall and the gold ground keeps the eye travelling upwards, which makes narrow walls between windows or beside doorways feel taller. Give it a stretch of wall at least 50–60 cm wide and centre it at eye level.
