    About This Art

Because Morris knew restraint, the deep green hits harder here. Two white swans meet at the centre, framed by dense leaves and pond flowers, with the gallery type pinning it down at the top and bottom.

The room shifts the moment it goes up — quieter, a bit older, a bit more considered. The deep green pulls the eye in and the cream of the swans gives the wall somewhere to breathe.

Works best at eye level over a bed, console or sideboard, in a hallway, study or calmer bedroom. Give it a little wall space either side so the botanicals aren't crowded.

Pair it with linen, oak or walnut, aged brass and stoneware in soft cream or clay. A wool rug in dusty green or soft pink keeps the mood gentle.

Don't crowd it with other heavy florals or competing typography — let the woven texture of the canvas carry the detail.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the deep green background look too dark in a small bedroom?

It reads richer than it looks on screen. In a small bedroom with warm lamp light and pale walls, the deep green grounds the wall rather than darkens the room. Keep one side of the print clear of other patterned objects so the botanicals have somewhere to breathe.

Does the exhibition text actually print clearly at smaller sizes?

The typography is set in clean, bold capitals so the William Morris title and South Kensington line stay legible at medium sizes. At the smallest tier, the dates and opening times become fine detail — choose medium or larger if the text matters to you.

Can I hang this above a bed with a patterned headboard or bedding?

It can, but the print is busy in its own right. It works best above a plain linen headboard or quieter bedding in cream, oat or soft pink. Mixing it with another large floral pattern usually pushes the wall over the edge into noisy.
