    About This Art

Most living rooms built around a grey sofa have no heat in them. Everything is tasteful, and by December the whole room feels like a waiting area. Orange fixes that. Hang this above the sofa, roughly 100cm square, and the warm streak pulls the eye up off the cushions and gives the wall a reason to exist. The deep teal around it does something useful too. It sits close enough to charcoal and navy to agree with whatever dark paint or leather you already own, so nothing else has to change. Keep the surface below it clear. A walnut sideboard or a black steel console under it works, with a single lamp off to one side. Pattern near it is the mistake, because the orange needs quiet around it to land. On fine-art paper behind acrylic glazing the orange stays crisp.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the orange look too loud in a small living room?

Less than you would expect. Most of the surface is deep teal, and that reads almost as a dark neutral once it is on the wall. The orange takes up a narrow band through the middle. In a small room the trick is to hang it alone, around 60 to 70cm square, and keep cushions and throws in grey or navy. One warm line in a cool room looks deliberate rather than loud.

What wall colour works behind it?

Dark walls suit it best. Deep teal, navy or charcoal paint lets the ground melt into the wall and leaves the orange doing the work. Off-white also works, though the whole piece then reads as a dark block, so give it a larger wall and plenty of space either side. Avoid warm beige or terracotta, because the orange loses its edge against them.

Does it work in a bedroom?

It can, with care. The deep blue is restful, and the orange gives a plain bedroom a single warm point, but it is not a quiet picture. Hang it on the wall facing the bed rather than above the headboard, so you see it in daylight rather than at lights out. Keep bedding plain in white or grey and the room still settles at night.
