    About This Art

Most living rooms are set to neutral. Grey sofa, white walls, a rug that matches both. What they lack is weather. Hang this above the sofa and the wall gets a late sky, the kind that turns a whole evening orange for ten minutes. Burnt orange carries right across the room. Magenta underneath it keeps that heat from going flat. The teal gives a charcoal or deep green velvet sofa something to answer. Plaster walls in off-white take the glow well, and a warm lamp pulls the orange out further after dark. Go large. At 70cm wide or more the sky has room to move, and the room stops feeling like a showroom. One rust cushion is enough. Leave the rest of the wall empty. On stretched canvas the brushwork reads at full size, with nothing between you and the sky.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the orange clash with a grey sofa?

No, grey is the best partner it has. A charcoal or mid grey sofa gives the burnt orange something cool to sit against, so the colour reads as warm rather than loud. Add one cushion in rust or deep teal and leave the rest plain. The pairing to avoid is a beige or tan sofa, which muddies the orange and takes the heat out of it.

Is this too dark for a bedroom?

It depends on the bedroom you want. The dark edges and the magenta keep the eye moving, so it is not a piece for a pale restful room. In a bedroom with deep green or navy walls and low lamps it works well above the headboard, and the orange glows at night. For a white, airy bedroom choose something quieter.

What size should I go for above a sofa?

Aim for the artwork to cover roughly half the sofa width. On a standard three-seater that means 70cm wide or more, which is the point where the brushwork reads as sky rather than a blur of colour. Hang it with the bottom edge about 20cm above the back cushions, and resist adding anything else on that wall.
