    Back in 1905, this botanical garden scene belonged to another kind of home — the kind with deep green walls, brass picture lights and a window cracked open onto the night air. It carries that same quiet hush. Hang it in a bedroom and the room slows down. The deep greens and inky shadows pull the wall back, while the small glasshouse and pale blooms catch the eye like a lit window. Best above a low headboard, a wide chest of drawers or a reading chair, on a darker or chalky wall where the cream tones can lift. Pairs well with linen, aged brass, dark oak and stoneware in earthy greens. Skip very busy patterned wallpaper nearby — it competes with the foliage.     Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Will the dark background look too heavy in a small bedroom?

    It can actually make a small bedroom feel cocooning rather than cramped, as long as the wall behind it is darker or warm off-white. Avoid hanging it on a bright white wall under a cold overhead light — the contrast gets harsh. A warm bedside lamp nearby softens it and lifts the cream blooms and the small glasshouse.

    Is the glasshouse the main focal point, or does the foliage dominate?

    The eye lands on the pale glasshouse first — it sits roughly in the upper middle of the composition and reads like a lit window against the dark greens. The dense foliage and flowers frame it on all sides. From across a room it reads as one strong vertical scene; up close the leaf and flower detail rewards a longer look.

    Does it work in a hallway, or is it too detailed for a passing glance?

    It works well in a hallway with at least a bit of dwell time — by a console, at the end of a run, or on a landing. In a narrow corridor you walk straight through, the detail is wasted. Side-light from a window or a nearby wall light helps the cream tones lift off the dark background.
