    Not because it's blue, but because it refuses to fade back. The harbour holds the eye — red-hulled boats, pale stone buildings and a church spire all crowded onto one calm strip of water.

    Put it up and the room gets a window. A hallway feels longer. A kitchen feels brighter. A living room picks up the orange-red and runs it through cushions, lampshades, a stoneware bowl on the side.

    It likes a wall with a bit of breathing room — between two doors, above a console, on the stair return. Eye-level works. So does sitting it slightly higher above low furniture.

    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Does the print read as truly Cornish or just generic seaside?

    It's clearly Falmouth — the deep harbour, the tall church tower over the town, the red fishing boats and the tight terrace of pale stone buildings are the giveaways. The word 'Cornwall' and 'Falmouth Harbour' sit at the top, so there's no mistaking the location even from across the room.

    Will the warm orange-red of the boats clash with a navy or grey-blue room?

    It usually works rather than clashes. The reds are warm but muted, not pillar-box bright, and the water is a soft blue rather than a strong navy. In a navy or grey-blue room the boats become a friendly warm accent — pick that up with a cushion or a lampshade and the whole thing settles.

    Is it better in portrait orientation above a console or as a tall hallway piece?

    Both work. The portrait shape is built for verticals — narrow hallway walls, the gap between two doors, above a slim console or small bench. It also holds a stair wall well at eye level on the landing. Wide spaces above sofas are less ideal; it can look a touch small there on its own.
