    About This Art

By mid-morning, the pear stops looking decorative and starts working. It pulls colour into the bit of wall above the kettle or the breakfast table that usually does nothing, and the kitchen feels a touch more considered without trying too hard.

The soft green band warms up off-white walls and sits comfortably next to sage, oak and pale ash. The peach lettering gives it a clear focal point so the eye lands somewhere instead of wandering across crockery and worktops.

Hang it above a breakfast bar, on the wall between cabinets and worktop, or in a small run beside the fridge. Eye-level when you're standing, not seated.

Pair it with stoneware, linen, brass fittings and a small pot of herbs. It also sits well with other single-fruit prints if you want a small food-led set.

Don't put it next to dense pattern or busy tile — the watercolour edge needs a calm wall to read properly. Printed on premium fine-art paper for a soft, painterly finish.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does the word 'PEAR' read clearly from across a small kitchen?

Yes. The lettering is large, peach and sits on a clean off-white band at the top, so it carries from a few metres away. If you're hanging it above a hob or a breakfast bar, the word is still legible from the opposite side of a typical kitchen.

Will the soft green background fight with sage or olive cabinetry?

The green here is a gentle, washed sage rather than a deep olive, so it tends to sit alongside painted cabinets rather than clash. If your cabinets are a strong olive, hang it on a contrasting wall — off-white or warm cream — so the print reads as an accent rather than a colour match.

Is it too playful for a grown-up kitchen?

It's playful, but not childish. The watercolour texture and restrained palette keep it on the cheerful side of grown-up. If your kitchen leans serious — dark cabinets, stone worktops — pair it with one quieter botanical so it doesn't feel like a single bright note.
