    About This Art

Seen beside pale oak cabinets, the watermelon slice loses nostalgia and gains grit. The big WATERMELON wordmark and juicy pink fruit give a quiet kitchen a hit of summer without feeling like a novelty poster. Hang it above a coffee station, breakfast bar or open shelving where the soft green block can bounce off pale wood and white tile. Pair it with rattan stools, a stoneware fruit bowl, linen tea towels and a few real plants. Avoid hanging it near busy patterned wallpaper, heavy floral curtains or a wall already crowded with retro signage — the typography needs a calm wall to do its job. Best in warm, well-lit rooms where you actually cook and eat. Printed on premium fine-art paper for a clean, matte finish.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the soft pink and green still work in a mostly white kitchen?

Yes — a white or pale oak kitchen is exactly where this print shines. The soft green block reads as a fresh hit of colour against white tile or panelling, and the pink lettering gives the wall a focal point without overwhelming the rest of the room.

Is the wordmark too bold for a calm space?

The WATERMELON lettering is large but stays soft because the pink is muted rather than neon. If your kitchen is very minimal, hang it solo on a plain wall and skip extra signage or busy tea towels nearby so the typography stays the single graphic moment.

Does this suit a kids' eating area or just a grown-up kitchen?

Both. The watercolour painting and clean type stop it feeling like a nursery print, so it ages well past toddler years. It works just as happily in a family breakfast nook as in a stylish solo kitchen — the palette is friendly without being babyish.
