    About This Art

Most kitchens are serious. Worktops, tasks, the kettle. What they lack is a bit of diner cheer, the kind that makes a Tuesday breakfast feel like a stop on a road trip. Hang this on the wall beside the table and that mood arrives with it. The deep brown of the drink sits well against cream tiles or a scrubbed pine top, and the rust along the bottom warms a room that leans grey. Sage walls pick up the background and the whole corner relaxes. Keep it at eye level from a seated chair. Guests notice it. Children ask about it. Nothing else in the room has to work as hard. On canvas the thick strokes read like real paint from across the room.

We're serious about canvas art, ask away

From sizing to framing and print quality, Fab's art experts break it all down—so you can find the right art for your space.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the rust and brown work in a kitchen with grey units?

Yes, and it is one of the better places for it. Grey units and worktops tend to flatten a kitchen, and the rust along the bottom of the picture puts warmth back without changing anything else. The sage background sits comfortably next to cool grey. Keep the wall behind it off-white or pale sage rather than a strong colour, so the warmth stays in the artwork.

What size suits a breakfast nook wall?

For a nook with a small table and two or four chairs, a medium size works best, roughly the height of a dining chair back. That lets the brushwork show from a seated position without dominating a short wall. Hang it beside the table at seated eye level rather than high up. On a larger dining wall with space either side, step up one tier.

Does it suit a home bar as well as a kitchen?

It does. A home bar often ends up with neon or novelty signs, and this gives the same humour in a quieter form. Hang it behind the bar shelf or on the wall beside seating, where the deep brown picks up bottles and dark wood. It also sits well in a dining room with a drinks cabinet, where it signals the room is for relaxing.
